The Heartless are the main enemy type in the Kingdom Hearts series. They manifest in two forms "Pureblood" and "Emblem" (Emblem Heartless being created artificially), and they behave entirely devoid of emotion, hence the name "Heartless". The Heartless are physical, living manifestations of the darkness within people's hearts. Sora is the original persona of his own Heartless and Roxas, the source of Xion's memories, and the carrier of Ventus' heart. Sora is a Keyblade wielder from the Destiny Islands where he, along with his childhood friends Riku and Kairi, dreamed of venturing away to find out what lies beyond their home. Cooking is an optional mini-game that many people disregarded, but you can't afford to ignore the buffs these meals can give you. Rely on AOE magic and picking off isolated targets. Again, you're way more fragile now than you might be used to, so even any group can be lethal if you run in Keyblade swinging. You'll need to focus on dodging, countering, and only striking when there's a safe opening. Standard, and even Proud to some extent, will let you get away with mashing the X button to win most fights, and even boss battles if you level yourself up enough. On the other hand, having even one or two extra spells can make or break a close battle when used correctly.īeyond that, there are a ton of little tricks you should keep in mind when attempting a Critical run.
